Platform & Network Disclosure
PaintersOfTexas.com is a painting-services referral and contractor-matching platform, not a single painting company.
Independent Contractors
All painting, coatings, repairs, and preparation services are provided by independent, third-party contractors within our network. Painters of Texas does not self-perform field labor, employ painters directly, or act as a general contractor for the execution of your project.
Estimates & Pricing
Pricing requests submitted through our platform are routed to independent contractors based on their self-reported service areas and capabilities. Any pricing, estimates, quotes, or proposals you receive are generated directly by the independent contractor, not by Painters of Texas.
Warranties and Liability
Customers must review each contractor's specific credentials, written scope of work, preparation standards, coating systems, exclusions, schedule, and warranty before authorizing work. Any disputes, warranty claims, or liability issues related to field services must be resolved directly with the independent contractor who performed the work.
Contractor Vetting
While Painters of Texas makes reasonable efforts to verify that contractors in our network carry appropriate insurance and licensing at the time of their onboarding, we cannot guarantee the ongoing maintenance of these credentials. We highly recommend that customers request current certificates of insurance directly from the contractor before project commencement.
Pre-1978 Properties
Federal law requires that contractors performing renovation, repair, and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities, and pre-schools built before 1978 be certified by EPA and use certified renovators who are trained by EPA-approved training providers to follow lead-safe work practices. It is the customer's responsibility to verify the contractor's EPA Lead-Safe Certification status prior to authorizing work.
